About the event
Pick up will be by car outside McDonalds at Tachikawa staion south side at 8:45 and drop off at 16:00. If you are in central Tokyo I will pick you up at 7:30 at Koenji J.R. station, drop off at 17:15-30. Drop off time may be affected by Traffic so I will update the arrival time 1hr in advance.
We will head by car to Aki river near Musashi-Itsukaichi station
We will cover fire building and safety, taking notes on gathering wood etc and how do do it safely, clean up litter/garbage at the river, explore for creatures in the area to document, and do some rock painting. To avoid sharing food we will have a picnic instead of a BBQ so please send a lunch box along for your Scout. Aside from the regular items, your Scout will need a swim suit, flotation device, a camera if possible, and a set of acrylic paint and brushes.
