Lets have a day in the sun exploring in and around Mt. Atago. Hiking up to Atago Shrine and Pagoda via Hikawa Gorge while looking for and documenting signs of wildlife and Practicing photography.

About the event
Pick up will be by car outside McDonlads at Tachikawa staion south side at 8:45 and drop off at 16:00. If you are in central Tokyo I will pick you up at 7:30 at Koenji J.R. station, drop off at 17:15-30. Drop off time may be affected by traffic so I will update the arrival time 1hr in advance.
We will hike Mt. Atago and visit the Shrine, Pagoda, The Long Stairs, and explore the Hikawa Gorge and River. Please send along a digital camera with your scout so we can practice photography and document any signs of wildlife we come across.
Scouts will need a lunch box, warm tea bottle, and grippy but comfortable shoes.
