About the event
Pick ups on the morning of Saturday the 17th. Koenji at 6:00 and Tachikawa at 7:00. Please be there at least 10 mins ahead of the pickup time. Drop of on the evening of Sunday the 21st. Koenji 17:30-18:00 and Tachikawa 18:00-18:30. Drop off may be affected by traffic so I will update as we go.
On Saturday morning we will drive to Tateyama and hike up Nokogiri Mountain (to be decided based on the weather). Practicing photography and enjoying the beautiful mountains and valley views before heading down the mountain on a cable car.
After planning and shopping for their dinner with their allowance the scouts will help to prepare the bbq and any parents who have joined in on the trip will join us for the evening BBQ and star gazing.
The next morning we will eat breakfast that was bought, prepped, and cooked by the Scouts before…

You are invited and welcome to join us on our Tateyama trip!!! Hurray! You can join our evening BBQ on the first day, Firefly creek cleanup/set up, and dinner at Grazie Gardens on the 2nd day before returning home. For the hike up Nokogiriyama and trip to the beach & caves you can relax on your own and take some time to yourself while we Scout Leaders take the Scouts on those adventures. There are many other beautiful sights, and I’d be happy to recommend a quiet lunch spot or onsen for you.
