About the event
Pick up will be by car outside McDonlads at Tachikawa staion south side at 8:45 and drop off at 16:00. If you are in central Tokyo I will pick you up at 7:30 at Koenji J.R. station, drop off at 17:15-30. Drop off time may be affected by Traffic so I will update the arrival time 1hr in advance.
From Tachikawa we will head by car to Tama river.
We will learn about and attempt to build survival shelters, taking notes on gathering wood safely (wildlife check) and how to use basic tools (saw, rope, and small knife) which the Scouts will use their event allowance to shop for at the dollar store on the way to the river.
