Tateyama Overnight at T.A.K. Clubhouse Oct

Pick ups on the evening of Friday the 29th. 

Azabu-Juban 18:00, Koenji 19:00, and Tachikawa 20:00. 

Please be there at least 10 mins ahead of the pickup time. 

Drop of on the evening of Sunday the 31st. Azabu-Juban 4:45, Koenji 17:30-18:00, and Tachikawa 18:00-18:30. Drop off may be affected by traffic so I will update as we go.

On Saturday morning we will hike up Nokogiri Mountain. Doing photography and enjoying the beautiful mountains and valley views before heading down the mountain on a cable car. Next we will head to Tsunerakuzan Mantoku Temple and explore the area stopping to draw the sleeping Buddha. when finished we will head to the supermarket.

After planning and shopping for their dinner with their allowance the scouts will help to prepare the bbq and any parents who have joined in on the trip will join us for the evening BBQ and star gazing.

The next morning we will eat breakfast that was bought, prepped, and cooked by the Scouts before heading out to a man-made cave complex. We will explore, study, and document its past uses.

When that is wrapped up we will head to Okinoshima to explore the caves, hunt for treasure on the white sand beach, try some fishing, and do a beach cleanup before eating a early dinner and getting on the expressway towards home. Parents are welcome to join us for the BBQ on Saturday night and star gazing, and the early dinner before heading home.
