Mt. Tonosu hike

We went hiking at Mt. Tonosu and Mt.Tenran today, and everybody had a great time!

At first, we had to hike a small ways to get to the entrance of the hiking trail, and the scouts were getting tired due to the heat. But once we all started on the trail, the scouts stated getting more and more energetic, finding their own ways through the bushes and exploring the wildlife around us.

Once we got to the top of the Mt.Tonosu, we found a massive stone shrine, and the scouts all marveled at the dedication it must've taken to carry all the pieces up the mountain.

On the way down the mountain, one of our scouts became too tired to continue carrying their pack, and the other scouts all helped by each carrying the pack for as long as they could and passing it along to another scout, all the way down the mountain. (It was heartwarming to see such teamwork on display after such a short time of them meeting each other) (the compassion and teamwork they displayed really spoke to the maturity and kindness that the scouts had towards each other.)
On the way home, some of the scouts fell asleep, and most were talking amongst themselves about their experiences of that day, and how much fun they had.
We hope to see you again!
